  1. The Copy Engine  is a helper application which provides local and network file copying services for SpeedShare. It is necessary for the Copy Engine to be running in order to look at files and folders in SpeedShare.

Normally, the Copy Engine is located in the same folder as SpeedShare, but it may be moved without a problem. If it is moved to a different disk, SpeedShare may need some help finding it, or it may be necessary to open it once manually (with a double-click in the Finder), so that its location can be saved for future use.
